Pick-up at the airport and transport to the resort was the fastest we’ve ever encountered. Check-in at Braco was immediate and very smooth. We’ve been to other resorts and had long waits at all. Our room was excellent and had a wonderful view of the water (second floor). Mosquitoes and ants were a problem throughout the trip but only a minor nuisance. The biggest problem was on our third day of the trip 67 high school seniors on a senior class invaded what was to that point a perfect place. They took over like a virus. The piano bar was reduced to a drunken shouting teen club. The disco only played Eminem and other Rap music. They made walks through of the Au Natural facility and were even so bold as to walk up to the bar fully clothed and order drinks (yes they were served). Many guests requested and got a transfer to Negril but others were too late and had to endure the week in high school.
Overall the week was beautiful and as long as we stayed on the au natural side the students weren’t much of a problem. It was a shame Super Clubs spoiled the beauty and serenity of such a wonderful place to make a few bucks on filling the resort. I think many guests won’t ever consider a June visit again and risk similar circumstances. I for one will think long and hard before returning in June.
